We have in the past, posted some fabulous DIY recipes for the skin. However, with the turn of season, pollens, pollution and gruelling heat, comes the dreaded cold virus. When you are unwell, it automatically shows on your face.
You look pale, tired, listless and just want to crawl into bed and sleep without your sinusitis bothering you and making weird sounds!
To recover quickly, we may turn to some prescription pills or if you are like me, listen to your mom like a good daughter and try this recipe:-
2 cups of water
1 large piece of ginger
3-5 Tulsi Leaves
1 small piece of Cinnamon
3-4 pieces of whole black pepper
Method:- BOIL till the goodness of all the spices is absorbed in the water.
Serve:- Before serving, mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric in the brew.
Drink Hot, twice a day and watch that cold dissipate.
