11 Natural Ways To Healthy Nails

Some women prefer perfectly manicured nails, others prefer to experiment with all kinds of nail art and there are a few who like it short, simple and clean. If you belong to any of these categories, brittle, flaky nails are an absolute nightmare! COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil isn't just for cooking; Coconut oil nourishes weak and brittle nails. The saturated fat in coconut oil works as an amazing moisturizer. Mix one-quarter cup of warm coconut oil and a little lemon juice in a bowl. Soak your nails in the solution for 10 minutes before going to bed. Wear gloves overnight for better results. Follow this remedy for two to three weeks and continue until your nails become healthy and strong.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple Cider Vinegar is an effective remedy among all the natural remedies for weak nails. It contains many nutrients such as iron, calcium, vitamins, potassium, magnesium, etc., which helps in preventing nail infections. Mix raw and unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with water in equal amounts. Soak your nails in it for five to seven minutes. Gently push the cuticles back immediately after it. Do this once daily for a few days to get stronger nails.

BEER

Beer is considered as one of the best remedies to grow strong nails. Heat 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 cup of beer to it. Soak your nails in it for 10-15 minutes. Do it once or twice a week for best results.

LEMON JUICE

Lemon juice strengthens your nails and brightens them as well. Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil to one tablespoon of lemon juice. Heat the mixture until it is warm to touch. Apply it to your nails and wear your gloves overnight to cure the brittle nails. Practice this remedy daily for 2-3 weeks.

OLIVE OIL

Hot oils can improve your nail quality and texture. Add equal parts of jojoba oil, almond oil, and olive oil. Heat this mixture until it is warm to touch. Soak small cotton balls in this mixture and place these balls on your nails. Leave them for ten minutes. It allows the oil to penetrate the nails and nourish them effectively.

EGG YOLK

If your nails get weak due to dryness, then this is the best home remedy for you. Combine egg yolk and milk to prepare a mixture. Massage it onto your nails for a few minutes. Rinse it off with fresh water. It would provide the needed moisture to your nails.

VEGETABLE OIL

This remedy is effective if your nails are over-exposed to water. Take any vegetable oil that you like and apply it to your nails using a cotton ball. Massage it gently for five minutes. Do it 3-4 times, daily to get healthier nails.

ORANGE JUICE

Orange juice contains folic acid which is one of the essential elements for the growth of nails. Extract fresh orange juice and soak your nails in it for 10 minutes at least. Rinse it off using warm water. Apply moisturizer after patting dry. Do it daily to possess stronger nails.

TOMATOES

Tomatoes are rich in biotin which improves the thickness of your nails. Take a bowl and mix two tablespoons of olive oil with half a cup of tomato juice. Put your nails in it for 10 minutes.

TEA TREE OIL

Tea tree oil is best to cure brittle nails caused by fungal infection. Add a drop of tea tree oil to 1/2 tablespoon of vitamin E oil. Rub it on your nails and massage for a few minutes. Apply moisturizer after rinsing it. Perform it twice a day regularly for a month.
